The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District, is conducting market research to identify potential parties having interest in and capability of performing construction of a new, fully functional, industrial, compressed air plant in the controlled access B18 Complex at Wright-Patterson AFB, including two centrifugal air compressors (4,000 HP), two industrial, natural gas-fired air heaters (18.1 MM BTU/hr / 55 MM BTU/hr), insulated specialty steel distribution piping (schedule 80-120), valves, and all associated controls and monitoring devices, integrated with the existing control system. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluation will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. The Government will consider feedback received in determining if a small business set-aside is appropriate for this requirement.
